Class 2 - Balancing poses - focused on gaze and sound
Class 3 - Balancing poses - focused on sensation and surface beneath the feet
Variations will be provided and demo'ed to practice the poses that fits you the best. One can do these poses with the support of a chair or near a wall.
Benefits -
Prevents fall injury - very important with age
Creates neural pathways to remember weight distribution and balance
Creates brain body connection
Strengthens the legs
Builds lateral balance and overall stability
Builds confidence and independence
At the end of the series, you will be able to -
Create a personalized 10-15 min sequence that you can practice daily.
When practiced consistently, the brain remembers the body movement, the weight shift, the sensory inputs, and thus, the body is balanced.
