Turmeric Milk

Ingredients:

1 cup of milk

1 teaspoon turmeric powder/whole turmeric about 2 inch stem

1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder
-
1 pinch of salt
-
1 pinch of pepper
-
1 teaspoon honey

Recipe:
1. Heat milk in a small pan over medium heat until the milk is heated to boiling.
2. Add turmeric powder.
3. Add cardamom powder.
4. Add a pinch of salt and pinch of pepper.
5. Mix it well.
6. Reduce the heat to low for 2 - 3 minutes until the flavor blends.
7. Take it off the heat. Let the milk cool until lukewarm.
8. For sweet lovers, add 1 teaspoon of honey to the milk after it is cool.
If you are using whole dry turmeric, crush it to powder form before adding it to the milk.
Pour the mixture through a strainer before consuming to avoid any hard turmeric crumbs.
